The Personal Ministries committee is looking for a few folks who would be willing to lead out in adult or children's Sabbath school classes once monthly. We currently have many dedicated teachers but need a few more. If you've never tried leading a SS class, why not give it a try, if not you, then who? Call Doris at 614- 439-0426.

Mount Vernon Academy's annual Academy Days will be held April 11-12, 2010. We would like to invite any students currently in grades 7 through 11 to join us on campus for this event. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. This is a free event. MVA will provide shuttling for students from the Akron/Cleveland and Columbus areas. If so, please submit their name to the church office.Little Lambs Ministry. This ministry is planning a special Easter event for all kids on Saturday, April 3 following the children's story at 2nd service. Your LL Leaders will be sharing the Easter story, an Easter craft and a special Easter surprise for kids of all ages. That's 1404 meals to those in need!!!  And now Street Beat has a need. They need drivers to make their delivery to the shelter. They meet in the kitchen of the church at 8:00am, are ready to make their delivery by 9:00 and are home no later than 9:30! You are invited to the Salvation Army's "God and Country Concert" on Saturday, March 13 at 7:00pm at Weigel Hall on the OSU campus. This concert is free.

Dave & Melinda Monos are so grateful to their church family for the many expressions of sympathy at the loss of Melinda's father, Dr. Felix Pascual. Your prayers brought strength and comfort and your kindness helped sustain them.

Mt. Vernon Academy's Annual Community Auction is Sunday, March 7 at 3:00pm in the MVA gymnasium. Some items up for auction are Amish built shed, ATV, motorcycle and quilts. Some of you may remember Gabe Robinson who attended Worthington for a while. He passed away and his family would like to invite you to a Memorial to celebrate his life, today, Saturday March 6 at 4:00pm at the Eastwood Church.
