New Year's Resolution #4 – Become better acquainted with my church family. What better way to fulfill this resolution than by attending our 2nd Sabbath of the month fellowship luncheons! The food is outstanding, the company is delightful and it's such a great way to spend a Sabbath afternoon. Please join us on January 9th following the 2nd service. Please bring an entrée and a salad or dessert to share. Congratulations to Pastor Mark Feldbush and family. Mark has accepted a job as a hospital chaplain at Kitchen clean-up. We have a lot of unmarked items in the refrigerator that have been there for a long time. Your church secretary (me) will be spending a few hours cleaning out the fridge in a couple of weeks. If you have something in there that you want to claim, please label it or remove it. Everything else will be disposed of or donated. The U.S. Census Bureau has been using our facility as a testing site for some upcoming job openings. They continue to look for qualified workers. If you would be interested in applying, please call 614-684-0140 or go to 2010censusjobs.gov. If you would like to take home one of the poinsettia plants on display in the sanctuary or narthex, please help yourself following the 2nd worship service. |
